*Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars* ¾ c packed brown sugar ½ c sugar 3/4 c butter, softened ¼ c solid shortening 1 tsp vanilla 1 egg 1 ¾ c all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt ½ c dark chocolate chips ½ c semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ c chopped walnuts (if desired) Preheat oven to 375º. Cream sugars, butter, and shortening until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. In another bowl, mix flour, salt and baking soda. Mix the dry ingredients with the creamed mixture until combined. *Cheese Ball* 1 16oz cream cheese, softened... 1 Small can crushed pineapple, drained ¼ C finely minced green pepper ½ C crushed pecans Mix cream cheese, pineapple and green pepper thoroughly and form into a ball. Roll in nuts and chill 1 hour before serving. Serve with crackers of your choice.
4T Butter 1 Small Onion, Chopped 2 Stalks Celery, Chopped 1tsp. salt 1tsp. pepper 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 C. dried cranberry 2/3-1 C. chicken broth 1 1/2 C. stuffing mix 1 C. breadcrumbs 1/2 C. Minced Parsley In a large skillet, melt butter; add onion and celery. Saute 5-7 minutes; Add stuffing mixture, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, breadcrumbs, cranberries, broth, and parsley. Place in 8x8 baking dish; bake at 325 for 20 minutes.
1 lb. fresh snap green beans, trimmed 1 c. sliced mushrooms 1 small onion, diced 2T Butter 2T olive oil 1tsp. salt 1tsp. pepper Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add green beans; boil 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside. Saute mushrooms and onion in large skillet with butter and oil; about 5 minutes until mushrooms and onions are golden and tender. Add salt and pepper; pour over drained green beans.
12 Eggs 4T. Mayo 1T. Mustard 2 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp. Pepper Paprika (Optional for topping only) Boil eggs; cool; and peel. Cut eggs in half horizontally and place cooked yolks in a separate bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients to the yolks and stir to combine. Spoon filling back into the cooked egg white halves and sprinkle with paprika if desired. Serve.
